[RELEASE] HD+ - Android Dashboard

102542 - my last update was 8/12.
I see there are available updates- i'm not set to auto-up -installing now!
Yep. simple update issue gives:

which is perfect for my needs. Thanks for that!

Just a Kudo's to @jpage4500 - HD+ is without doubt the single most important app for my Smart Home. Allowing me to manage tiles, works in my car dash, AND on my phone, has every feature ever needed by me, is cool to look at on my 29" portrait display, gets updates constantly (that seem to always include more than just fixes, but new features), allows me to see my cams', works with @garyjmilne Tile Builder - and the only rock solid functional presence monitor I know (Owntracks to HE by @lpakula)
Basically the swiss army knife of my world. I rarely open HE, and thats only to fix items that randomly drop off or don't work (which I identify by... you guessed it ... HD+ dashboard!)

IOS users, you are missing out! (Maybe an Android Emulator on your iPhone?!)

Thanks @jpage4500 !!!

I’m pure iOS…except for my dashboards as HD+ does everything I want/need

I am using the Virtual Battery Sensor driver for my phone and dashboard tablets. Since they cycle between 15% and 80%, the Battery Monitor tile is frequently in alarm.
Could you set up an option to exclude devices that use the Virtual Battery Sensor driver?

Edit: Had an inspiration to to use a Virtual Window Blinds driver. Now Tasker is using the RM API to see the blinds level and the charging rule uses a Custom Attribute to read the level.
The battery level for the blinds stays at the last battery update from Tasker.

Great app but I'm running into an issue with the presence. It works fine except when I reboot my phone it won't recognize I left the zone. In order to fix it, I have to go back into the app and save the presence setting again. The presence settings are still there but they seem to not be active. I simply go to "Presence Tracking" and save what's already there. Very strange.

I noticed that's the pollen count stopped working. Has anyone else seen this too? Great application.

It's working for me - I have noticed at times the server will go down but the app should auto-refresh. If it's still down for you after a day or so you can send device logs (and your zip) and I can see why

I haven't noticed this myself. I just rebooted my device (software update) though so I'll pay attention the next time I leave the house. I haven't opened the app today and I'll try to remember not to so I can really test it.

Typically, the app will register it's geofence locations when the app starts as well as when the device boots. What device do you have?

You can exclude any device from the battery monitor by long-clicking that device

Thanks for the reply. Even if you open the app after a phone power on it still won't work. For me, I have to save the presence settings (I press the check mark). After that its good until the next restart.
I have a Honor and my wife has a Samsung. Both phone have the same problem.

Does it show as Enabled when you first open the dialog? I'm not sure how to debug this one.. maybe the device logs would help if there's an error in there?

Sometimes its the smallest things. I had the "Disable Feature" ON. How stupid of me, I didn't see it.

no worries.. it's not a good name/label for that setting. I remember wanting a way to keep locations but not enable the feature.. there's probably a much better way to handle that

Thanks for the feedback. Your app is so intuitive, that I have been too lazy to read the documentation. :grimacing:

My suggestion is to put it at the top of the settings

yeah, that would be better.. probably anything would be better than what's there today. The flag was added late and is to 'disable' it rather than enable it (because I didn't want to break things for existing users). If I get some time I'll try to simplify things

Is anyone else having issues with notifications in the HD+ app?

I'm seeing this error in the hubitat logs:
handlePostCommand: ERROR: http:301, body:{"error":"Deprecated endpoint, see https://firebase.google.com/docs/cloud-messaging/migrate-v1"}

Thanks. It did come back. Thanks!

bummer.. I remember that push notification endpoint was going to expire at some point.. guess now is that point :frowning:

I'll put it on my TODO list and get it updated

Thank you! Fingers crossed the house doesn't burn down or gets flooded until then. I might just revert back to hubitat's app for the critical notifications.
