Would be nice to try it out. I am using a Pixel 6 with gestures without any problems at all. But maybe something acts differently at the Pixel 7 series. Who knows.
Hey all - Can someone remind me how to disable the tile title? I'm implementing some tiles from the Tile Builder app (from Gary J. Milne @garyjmilne) - as a way to condense tile counts etc. (CHECK IT OUT! I urge any/everyone!) and tabled data already has a 'title' so it's redundant and I could use the tile space back.
@jpage4500 - I think there is a new sherriff in town for tiles. Tile Builder app by @garyjmilne is quickly becoming the solution for custom tiles on my dashboard. I've used tile maker, tile Maker 2 etc. and they held the fort but we're limited. This is next level stuff!
I bring it to your attention because the implementation he is using brings to light a new area that needs your thoughts! His tiles use a 'storage' device. then, he assigned the content of a tile to an attribute in that singular tile. so basically with one Storage device tile from his app, I can have ~25 tiles. I create a 'copy' of my first tile in HD+, then adjust it to display a specific attribute. It is a bit unwieldy in HD+ initially, although functional.
Love to hear/read your comments!
I'll look at it - add a few tiles and if there's something I can do in HD+ to make them display better or without any manual intervention I'll do it. I'm not at home the next 2 days though so Saturday would be the earliest I could try it out
Are there any docs for HD+? I used it last year, am coming back but forgot most of what I knew, and I see development is ongoing.
I try to keep this page up-to-date: Overview - HD+ (Hubitat Dashboard)
There's probably a lot of advanced things that aren't covered but that's the goal anyway.. let me know if you have any specific questions and if it's not there I can try to add it
Very nice, thanks.
Can I add a device more than once? For example I might have my dining room motion sensor in a Motion folder and in a Temperature folder and show the appropriate attributes accordingly.
NM, I see copy device
I'm on non-beta 1.0.2094 and have been for at least a couple weeks. In the last 3 days it has stopped waking from screensaver upon the designated motion sensor activity. I've verified with Wireshark that the sensor in/active messages are in the eventstream. I've rebooted the tablet and HE (desperation moves) to no avail. I also deselected the sensor and re-selected it. What could have changed to cause the loss of the waking function???
Is there any chance the app could be put into the amazon store? If it was windows 11 users could install it on windows.
@jpage4500 I think I'm loosing my mind! Today I created a copy of a tile. During the copy creation (after entering the tile name) I had an option on screen for 'Hide Title'. I closed the tile. Then went back in and the option had disappeared. Now, no tile I can see on my dashboard has the option for Hide Title.
I've recently started using Tile Builder and the synergy I foresee of these two apps ... well. NM. but Tile Builder by @garyjmilne has fantastic control of tile content including titles of the tile and table.
If HD+ could 'go dark' so to speak, and turn the tile internal space over like a wrapper ie; a tile type of 'Tile Builder' then I can set font size, colors, table %'s and/or get a better use of the space lost at the top and edge. is that possible?
I switched to the beta version and there's no change in this behavior.
I thought maybe something went haywire with the tablet itself and waking wouldn't work anymore so I changed the waking to use the camera and it works so there is something definitely wrong with the app's handling of the motion sensor status, @jpage4500
@jpage4500 is there a way currently to link the tasker tiles back to a virtual device in hubitat? Say a push button or auto off switch.
Use case would be to be able to push a button in hubitat and then have tasker launch the corresponding task.
I know I tested that logic recently but I'll double check. Does it work for a while but stop after some period of time? Is so, maybe the app stops listening for events when the screen is off
I added a few tiles but haven't been home long enough to do anything useful. I do like the idea of just giving the full time 'space' to the HTML content though. I do that with images and videos.
I'll have time this week to do some work and I'll post any ideas or things I can
I appreciate you! - The 2 items so far affecting my implementing a robust HD+ dash with Tile builder - Hiding Tile Title and an empty tile with wrapper.
on the Hide Title - I discovered that IF my tile is using HTML, then hide tile feature is present. Since using Tile Builder requires I choose which tile# from my storage, it hides the feature.
The wrapper idea - not sure what to call it - but assumedly in Add Tile a 'Wrapper' tile... Because you do so much with font, text, etc - be mindful that the Tile Builder inbound tile can get stomped on!
Lastly, the Hide Title becomes moot I think if a Wrapper tile is used... since tile content gets turned over to TB input.
I want to add I did try Android Auto yesterday - so far I'm only getting HSM icon but it is likely my configuration causing it. I'll explore more soon.
TinyCam Pro/Wyze feeds.
I had switched to Docker on Pi. Was trying TinyCam again. Adding the image tile and the axis-cgi/mjpg URL is not feeding anything. Tried several cams without luck. Anyone still using this?
No. It was fine on 2094(production) for at least 2 weeks when it stopped waking upon motion sensor activity and has not worked even once since. I rebooted the tablet, HE, and node-red to no avail.
I switched to the beta version and it didn't fix it.

Hell @jpage4500
For the life360 tiles on the dashboard i notice the time displayed on the tile seems to be the last time the life360 app updated.
Would it be possible to have this time be the time they arrived at the current location (assuming the device is in one of the defined locations?
