Recommendations on thermostats

I am beginning to build and plan a new home build on a seasonal vacation property. The HVAC (heat pump) will have 4 separately controlled zones. What suggestions does the group have for devices? Things I am thinking are important:

  • each zone able to be controlled locally by a thermostat on wall
  • Electronic control (via Hubitat, naturally :grin:)
  • Local communication preferred over cloud
    2 questions:
  1. Am I missing anything
  2. Have you got any suggestions for brands/systems to start with?
