Recommend for Smartlock to be used without hub

I have a friend who recently had a home break-in. They think it may have been from a someone with a key (cleaning person etc).

I would like to recommend a smart lock that can be used with their phone so they can provide time limited codes to those folks. I was thinking of the Yale Lock 2 with bluetooth, thinking wifi could be more easily hacked.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what locks have been reliable/stable that might be a better choice. I've had Home Automation for many years but the need for a smart lock never came up for us.

Thanks
John

My Kwikset 914 has performed well for over 3 years. You can find them new open box on eBay.

Both Z-Wave and Zigbee models are available and swap easily.
