Hi people,
We live with motion lights (former controlled by hue) since years but since I switched to HE my girlfriend picked up the bad habit of using the physical switch again.
Now it seams HE doesn't turn some of those lights off since it's too bright to activate the light in the first place (it doesn't enter the cycle). They turn only on when lux is 0...
Is there a way to solve this without losing the basic idea of the rule?

thanks

Without knowing what devices you have, how the rule is activated etc. etc. it is difficult to advise.
Start by either explaining what you are trying to achieve and post a screenshot of the rule you have.

you're right. it's a motion lighting application.
It's basically simple:
If there is motion, turn on the lights.
If it's bright enough, don't turn on.

Now my gf operates the physical switch twice so the light turns on. but now there is enough brightness and the motion lightning stuff doesn't start and therefore doesn't turn the lights off.

What about something like this?

I thought I can solve it per per software. I might have an idea for it.
If light is on but no motion turn it off after x minutes. so I can restrct the duration of how long it is on.
