Random lockup -- where to start?

I've been experiencing random lock ups as of late with no indication of why. Logs all seem to stop & when I though I'd pinpointed the issue it happened again. Is there any way to turn debug on for everything?

I've already uninstalled any un-necessary apps, and although theres no indication of DB corruption I did a soft reset. Any guidance on how to diagnose from here?

1st thing I always check is to make sure the device is not sitting on top of something warm / has ventilation.

The thermals are really marginal on the device (my opinion - not "fact") .

I've seen a C5 and C7 both lockup sitting on top of a luke warm (not overly hot) network switch, and be perfectly fine when not on it.
