Rachio Device Label Revert Back

Once my Rachio controller is discovered the Device (zone) labels are set to match the Device Name. I then go and make them shorter to better fit a dashboard tile. They work great for a bit but I think when the controller is polled or something they always revert back to the Device Name which is long and unreadable on dashboard tiles.

Any thoughts or experiences with this?

I don't have any experience with this but some drivers/apps have an option to keep Hubitat names in sync with the source system. Is there a preference like this?
