Back in my ST days I had a guest mode. I would enable guest mode when I had guest or kids at home and I wanted to leave. The alarm was not set to arm on guest mode. Then when I arrived home guest mode would disable.
In Hubitat I created a like scenario with a new mode called Guest. In mode manager I set not to go to away mode when Guest mode is enabled. The trick is to go back to day mode on arrival of a presence sensor. I can't seem to figure out how to do this with Rule Manager.
What I've done is create a virtual presence device called Guest. I can then trigger the presence of that device and use it in setup of my rules and conditions. I have a Pico that activates the guest as present or away for manual convience, plus I use some rules to do the same thing based on triggers and stuff.
Use the right code on the door lock, Guest becomes present. Push the pico button to make Guest present, now the inlaws can stay in the right mode, while all tracked family members have left.
