Question about types of dimmers

Continuing the discussion from Light not turning completely off:

I have been trying to find an answer to a question I have, and the above post by @agnes.zooz seems to kinda get close, but not quite. I'm planning on getting either Zen 73 or 77 for my bathroom. The fixture holds 3 bulbs and they are currently non-dimmable, so I'd need to get new bulbs too. What is the best combination to get the lowest dimming level possible so that I can also use this as a nightlight?

It seems like there are 4 combinations.

  1. TRIAC and leading edge
  2. TRIAC and trailing edge
  3. MOSFET and trailing edge
  4. MOSFET and trailing edge

TRIAC would be the Zen73 and MOSFET would be the Zen77.

New to this thread but just my 2 cents.
I have dimmers that have an LED that you can set to be on when the switch is off.
That LED is the night light I use for the bathrooms.

Bulb compatibility plays a part in the dimming capability.
Inovelli uses MOSFET and Leading Edge technology Here is a good right up on their product. They also provide a compatibility list for their product.
