Question about motion sensing

I am using a Sonoff snb03p motion sensor with the Tuya multi sensor 4 in 1 driver in the master bathroom. All night long it randomly senses motion and turns on the light when the door is closed and no one is in there. I am getting frustrated with the light coming on all night long. What could be causing the false motion and is there anything I can do to prevent it? This is the rule that I am using.

Is there an air vent in its FOV?

Otherwise, from what I've read, these aren't very reliable sensors, so maybe it's just that.

I've had really good results with the THIRDREALITY Zigbee Motion Sensors. They react very quickly and I have yet to get a false positive from one of them. They use two AAA batteries and the battery life is very good. These pair up with Habitat easily as well.

You might try requiring that the trigger event "stays that way" for X seconds (e.g., 2 to 5 seconds).

Alternatively, use the Private Boolean = True as part of the trigger, reset the PB from "true" to "false" at the top of the actions, then set the PB back to "true" at the bottom of the actions, so that triggers during the "lit" period don't affect the lights.

To be sure of what is happening, turn on the different logging options for both the rule and the device, posting the results back here for a night where the issue occurs.

If the device is battery powered you could try charging the batteries.

There is a vent directly below the sensor. I directed the air away from the sensor and have had no false motion events. Thanks
