I did something similar. But shall we say, more minimalistic.
No photos, but essentially I use two double plastic back boxes with blanking plates. Drilled a few small holes in the blanking plates and mounted some wled-controlled strips.
I use it to indicate whether schedules are enabled on each heating zone (every room), and whether a half-hour boost is running, and also shows the boiler status.
Also added a pile of momentary buttons which serve a dual purpose. Press to boost, press and hold to toggle schedule for each zone.
Works. Ace. All mounted in approx 20cm x 20cm panel.
