I've exhausted my research into this problem and am hoping the community can help out. I have three 6' Sengled LED Zigbee strips that I purchased from Amazon. All three connected masterfully. Wanting to illuminate some other areas, I then bought three 32' Sengled LED Zigbee strips. None of these will pair. Other than the length, they appear identical. The longer strips did come with their hub which I don't wish to use. And yes, the box indicates that the non-connecting strips are indeed Zigbee. Anyone else face this issue? Cures? Your assistance is appreciated.
I wish I could help. I have 4 of the Sengled LED light strips from Amazon and all of them paired with HE and work perfectly.
When you factory reset them do they respond as expected?
Well, not exactly as the attachment you shared describes. In lieu of flashing 5 times, they flash indefinitely. The only way to get this to cease is to unplug them. I presumed this was a reflection of them being in pairing mode. I've reached out to Sengled to further inquire. Bottom line: Is this a reflection that they are bad? It seems unlikely that all three would be defective.
Possible, but its usually the manufacturer mistakenly putting Wi-Fi modules in the device instead of ZigBee...
Or just out of date documentation.
