To each their own. A debate on the Inovelli switch is probably premature given the switch hasn't been released yet, and such a debate would anyway be more appropriate on a separate thread. Suffice to say, I'm more optimistic about it for my use and for my home. For the OP's purposes, be advised that the Inovelli switch is an option to consider, but some have their doubts - your mileage may vary depending on your use cases, home layout, and the final product's features.

Seems like a good fix but ideally I don’t want another Hub to mess around with. I know it sounds snobby

Hi @kkossev These mmWave sensors have been around for some time now and you have worked with a number of them. I appreciate each will have its pros and cons but I wonder if you have a current personal favourite in terms of reliability, usability, ease of setup?
I've not got around to trying one yet but could definitely use one for the Kitchen. There's a lot of foul language comes from that room while my wife is cooking and stands still for too long!
I've just added another passive motion detector aimed at that standing still area.
I'm surprised no one is concerned about bathing in microwave radiation.
