Power outages causing lights set to turn on at certain time to stay off

So I have seen this happen about three times this year since May. I have Zooz Zen26 switch set to turn on and off at set times as a simple automation rule. After the power outage the automation never turned on the lights that night. All the outages lasted under a day. The last two were less than an hour. Hubitat clock was still current after the outages aswell.

Any help on what could have caused this I'd appreciate it.

Thank

Some smart switches will remember their last state when the power comes on. If the light was on when the power goes off, the light will be on when the power comes back on. Some smart switches will default to be off when the power comes back on. This is easy enough to test by simply unplugging the switch when the lamp is on, and then plugging it back in- is the lamp still on or is it off. Just trying to help you troubleshoot.

Yeah under device settings it set to go back to last state. I just figured six hours after power failure it should be able to follow automation knowing what its last state was. While I'm not running a lot of automation, this is the only thing that stops working the same day after a power outage.

Did Hubitat show the switch state as on already?

On my Android device the switch was off.

Are they set to turn on a a certain time or is an offset used like 20 minutes before sunset or something? Offsets on sunset or sunrise don't usually work until the next day after a power outage, at least that used to be the case so I switched all my rules to happen without an offset and haven't had an issue unless the time occurred during the outage.

Set time.
