Power/energy meter plug that works well with HE

HI what is a good power metering plug that can be used with integrations with HE?

I have a Smartthings plug connected via hubconnect but I can't control the switch and everyone says its energy reporting is bad in HE and I would like to ditch ST.

I also have an Eve Homekit plug but its only usable in HK.

Any cheap options? THANX!!!!

I have some Samsung Smartthings power metering plugs (Zigbee) directly paired to HE, and they report correctly and are fully and reliably controlled by HE. (And not a cheap option BTW.)

I have recently included Xiaomi Mi metering plugs (also Zigbee, more affordable) and they also work reliably.

I also use Aeotec’s Z-Wave metering plugs, a bit more expensive, but also do their function.

So the Smartthings Plug will connect Directly to HE and report ? Great I was just just assuming the only way to get the reporting was via ST via HubConnect... and the meter is avaialable to automations as well? if they are, this is GREAT news....yeah it wasn't a cheap plug... and one of the only reason I was going to hang on to ST.... I will check out the Xiaomis! Thank U!

I have ST zigbee outlets directly paired to Hubitat. They have worked very well for the last 2 years. For power monitoring.

No those are WiFi. You need the zigbee ones. I can’t find those on Amazon anymore.

No. As @aaiyar was saying, those are WiFi. Not Zigbee.

Yes, they are 220v Euro Schuko plugs (I’m located in Spain), but I bet they have an US equivalent.

This only reports on off? Does it actually report power levels that are available to automations?

ie...if power level is equal or above X level then perform an Action?

Mother effer both the plugs were defective after 4 months of waiting... took forever to get a return label and I just gave up on them.....
