Please help me understand lock code manager names

I have a virtual keypad that utilizes Lock Code Manager. I can't for the life of me figure out how to set up notifications based on names of codes. I've done some searching but everything seems to be different than what I am experiencing.

You can use the notifications app.

So it looks like my problem is that my virtual keypad does not show up as a lock.

Is that a custom driver? I don't have a virtual keypad option.

It is. Hmmmm perhaps I can reach out to the developer to possibly add the capability.

You may just need to do it with RM instead of the Notifications app. Let me install the virtual keypad driver and see what I can come up with.

I lied. Setting up the keypad is a little more involved than I assumed and I'm not using the functions it supports (HSM,modes,etc.).

You can check the logs/device events for what shows up when you enter a code on the keypad. I just can't tell if that's going to show up as a button pushed or what. From there, you can write an action to notify your phone of the value for the lock code entered.

The app dev could probably give you a little better guidance though.
