Pleasantly pleased

Last night my network went down due a storm. What I didn't then, was that it also took out one of my routers. After working on this most of the day and still only having less than 40% of my network online, I have not heard this statement.....

"THE LIGHTS WON'T TURN ON!! "

..... From across the house.

No internet.
1/2 network capability

And my house has been running strong.

Thanks Hubitat!

Time to ask for a raise, or at least a shirt that says:

  • Smart Dad = Smart Home

It's actually the perfect storm.
I just had a total knee replacement 6 days ago. So I'm kind of very very slightly mobile.

Ouch...sorry to hear that. Though if you're like folks I know who did that, better times are coming.

In the meantime, the operative phrase is:

"Can someone please bring me a __________?" (Fill in with drink, snack, etc., as desired.)

Yeah, I can already tell it's worth the pain.

My wife and kids have been amazing running up and down the stairs.

Best of luck with the replacement. My wife had one two years ago, and likes it much better than her "OEM knee" :grinning: .

Knowing some friends who did not have her success, she (and I) would be the first to tell you that DOING YOUR PT MATTERS. It'll suck, but every effort you put in now will pay off in spades for years to come.

...and: congrats on the W(&K)AF from your Hub!
