I have two Pico remotes that are the two most recent Picos I added to Lutron/HE. LED on both of them flashes w/button presses, so not a battery issue - they haven't been used since I added them to HE.
Neither is working, in that if I press a button on them nothing registers on their device pages. They are added just like my 12 other Picos, first in mobile app, then in Lutron app in HE. They show up as selectable Pico devices in apps, but neither apps or the two Pico's device pages register any action when I press their buttons. All of my 12 other Picos are working fine.
So I think best to remove them from HE and then add back, or remove them from HE and Lutron app, and start over.
Appreciate any advice for the best path, and what the process is to remove Picos from HE/Lutron app.
I'd verify two things, plus maybe try a third for fun, in no particular order:
Is the Pico actually doing anything on Lutron? If you have Caseta or RA2 Select, there are probably ways to check this from the app, but just as easy would be to look at "Logs" for the "Lutron Telnet" device in Hubitat (or whatever you may have renamed this device to), which should generate logs like rcvd: DEVICE,25,2,3 when you manipulate buttons on Lutron device #25 in this example (think "2,3" is something lie pushing the top button on a 5-buton Pico, but the point is whether you see things like this at all).
Does the Lutron device ID match the ID you specified in the Hubitat integration? You'll see it in the logs above (the first number), if nothing else, though the integration report should have it.
If you have Caseta or RA2 Select, does simulating a button press in the Lutron mobile app work? (Probably also do-able with RA2 and the Connect Bridge, but I don't know.) This should also generate logs in Hubitat like a real button press, and knowing what happens in this case would eliminate something in the Lutron "network" as a possible problem; it's pretty reliable, but maybe if you're on the fringe of range...
Hopefully just something easy like a mismatched ID.
Also, make sure you don't have a duplicate Caseta device in the Hubitat devices list. I screwed up one time and made some duplicate devices. The last one made works but the other one is there on the list and does nothing. It may not be obvious until you check the Lutron Device number, You should be able to delete it. Just delete the one that ISN'T working!
(I have two Caseta Pro hubs - one is 644 the other is 709)
Wife "helped me" by organizing some of my stuff in the office (or her office, as she thinks of it), and it led to me confusing two picos I hadn't added yet, w/two picos I had added but not used. In short, my set aside piles got mixed up. So the ones that weren't working, weren't working because they had never been set up.
Evidently this is still my fault, as I never told her not to help me by organizing my stuff w/out telling me. I have decided not to appeal to a higher court, as none of my other appeals have every been successful.
Thanks for the help. Crawling back into my dark hole.
