So the wife comes in and exclaims that the lamp bulb is literally smoking. Not exactly good for the WAF. Turns out a Phillips Hue bulb was in fact smoking and smelled burnt when I removed it. Has anyone else experienced something like this? Is this expected behavior at end of life or something? Would you be concerned about fire safety with the other Hue bulbs I have?
Obviously I’m going to contact Phillips support, and will report back what they say….
