I want to change my password used to access this community site but am unable to find it. I looked in my Profile and Preferences but no link to change it.
The Community forum uses "single sign-on" (SSO) with your Hubitat Portal account (or at least it can--not sure what the other options for registration are since I'm already registered, though if you're not using SSO, you should see the regular password-change field in your user preferences; everything I can see looks like it's SSO from either Hubitat, Amazon, Facebook, or Google). The "Portal" account I'm talking about is your cloud account, unrelated to local hub password protection if you have that enabled. So, to change your password here, you'd have to change your password there.
Unfortunately, I just tried and don't see an easy way to do that there either. There is the "Forgot Password?" link at the logon page, which will send you an e-mail you can use to reset and which should work for this purpose--just not sure I see a "clean" way to change your password if you already know it. In any case: https://portal.hubitat.com is what you want (assuming your SSO login comes from here). Hope this helps!
