Part number for the best "outdoor" motion sensor

Can you someone provide me with a Part number for the best "outdoor" motion sensor?

Thanks in advance
David

I picked up a couple Hue Outdoor motion sensors based on recommendations from here and I have been very happy with them for several months. They do motion, lux and temp reporting and use AA batteries. Pair direct to hub and work great.

I used a couple of indoor ones outside for the past few years without issues as they're sheilded from rain/snow under the roof overhang. Temperatures range from 35c to -15c where I live and they haven't failed me. In my case I used the Aeon Multisensor 6 sensors.

Do you have a part number on the Hue Outdoor motion sensor?

Sometimes available in a two pack from Costco.com with a slight price break.

My only issue with mine is that they seem over sensitive at bitterly cold temperatures (below 0 degrees F). But that's a minor issue for me, i would certainly recommend them.

Also recommend the Hue outdoor sensor. Mine are placed in locations where it got to be a chore to change batteries; also the battery cover is a PITA to remove. So the last time I had to change batteries, I hardwired mine to 3VDC adapters.

This may be something to consider depending on where you're planning to install them.

On the new version, the cover is MUCH easier to manage. That old cover was totally crazy-making!

My hard-wire solution isn't as clean as yours, but I use a battery-conversion kit to power mine -- it's nice not having to track those batteries.
