I have recently installed EventGhost and created a Device for it named EG. From EG I have typed in "abc" into the Add String Param. I then made a Macro in EventGhost on the PC to bring up a MessageBox and used the event name "msgbox" to make the MessageBox appear. It works except I do not know how to display the "abc" string parameter I want to pass and, of course, access on the PC side. I do realize that I must select "Add String Param" prior to selecting "Send Event". How do I utilize that string on the PC side? Thanks
I read thru that prior... but thanks for pointing it out. I did find HOW-TO: On-Screen Display (OSD) of Caller ID (CID) info on PC monitor by LibrSun. It talks specifically about the string parameter passage but I have tried it and either things have changed or I am just not getting it. I will contact him directly and beg some help. Thanks Again
