So after I reset my hub my light strip had to be reincluded. Unfortunately getting that device into pairing mode from what I've read can be a pain.. also the light strip is in a somewhat awkward and high up place.
What I ended up doing was putting the strip on a z-wave controlled outlet and programming it via an RM trigger to toggle on and off every 5 seconds using a virtual switch. Also had a 2nd trigger that stopped the first one after 30 seconds..
Turned on the virtual switch and went into discovery.. after a bit the light strip came up!!
