Just installed a couple door/window contact sensors from Ouvopo.
Had a little trouble getting them setup so thought I would share what eventually worked for me.
- I used the generic add device manually "Zigbee" button to get me to the start Zigbee pairing button.
- Resetting the device with the supplied reset pin didn't seem to get the device into pairing mode. I had to open the unit up, remove the battery and then reinstall it, then I did the reset pin for 8+ seconds.
- After the power cycle and reset it properly paired so I named the new device and assigned it to a room.
- I then went into devices and selected the new device, then device Info tab. In the Type box I scrolled until I found Generic Zigbee Contact Sensor.
- From there I tabbed back to the Commands Tab and did a configure and then a refresh (not sure if this step was needed). After that the device seemed to work properly. Moving the magnet away from the sensor changed state from closed to open and vice versa.
- At this point I installed the sensor in the final location and wrote a couple rules using the new sensor as a trigger.
So most of this is just stock pairing and nothing new. The wrinkles I had were the power cycle then reset to get the device to pair and then changing the device type to Generic Zigbee Contact sensor.
