[OTHER] Pixora - A Standalone Windows App to Control a LED Matrix Display

Preface:
This is NOT a Hubitat app/driver but it can be used with Rule Machine to display messages and device data from Hubitat!

This started out as a way to replace the Tidbyt firmware, now dying a slow death with the sale of their company. After looking at the other options to reflash the Tidbyt, they all were very confusing and required a Linux system. I thought there had to be a better way!

Introducing Pixora - A Windows based LED matrix display Control Panel and firmware. Compatible with the Tidbyt and S3 type devices. Finally, an easy to use windows based system to display sports scores, weather, clocks, countdowns, stocks, etc. Best of all, Hubitat can easy send messages to the display using Rule Machine. And with Maker API, any device attribute is easily displayed as well.

By the way, this can also be used on other devices, like the matrixportal-s3 and a 64x32 led matrix panel.

I'm currently using both of these in my setup.

You can find the files on my github.

Note: All of the software/cards are free to use however you like.

More to come!

This project has come a long way, quickly! There are now over 110 cards. I redid almost all of the graphics. Each card now works with 64x32 and 128x32 devices. I’ve also designed custom 3d printed cases for both sizes.

Would love to know if anyone is interested in trying this out on their Tidbyt or if you happen to have the parts to build an s3? All files are on my Github linked in the first post.

Some shots from my phone… (need to learn how to make these pop. They are so vivid in person!)

Oh did I mention you can run as many screens as you want, separately or connect up to 3 to create one BIG screen?! :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
