Every once in a while some device will not update (like say for today it was my gocontrol garage door opener), noticed my alert for a left garage door open, went and looked and it was closed, checked hubitat and it said it was open, didnt do anything other than hit refresh on the device and it updated to closed. Is there something I can do to prevent this from happening down the road?
Read some docs and all my devices but one plug in repeater are all zwave plus, is there any chance the non plus repeater is being a pain?
It could be, but depending on the model of your garage door opener, the likely offender might be the S0 encryption. Having the door directly connected to the hub and not going through a repeater may solve the problem. Or at minimum the garage needs to reach the hub via a solid Z-Wave Plus repeater. If you have Z-Wave Plus devices needing a refresh in order to update their state, that usually is indicative of a mesh in trouble (also happens if there is a weak battery in the sensor).
