Put new batteries in..
First issue battery percent not updated.
Tried re-pair in place with both normal and forced button presses
C7 never found it.even after hub reboot. Flashing lights indicated it was in pairing mode.
Had to reset the device to get it to pair in place.
Still battery percent not updated (37%)
It is communicating see below..

That's normal behavior for my devices (I have 10 of them). The battery level updates sometimes after a day. Some just don't report the level correctly. @mike.maxwell on the other hand has none of these hiccups, so it's not the driver. They are the most reliable devices ever, just every 2 years when they need new batteries, some are a pain.
Same here takes a couple days sometimes for battery reporting to update. And the level never reports very well but all that said they go forever on a set of batteries.
thanks .. need to keep track myself then or every year just replace.. luckilyu aaa are cheap compared to other batteries
I like the Nyce devices but I have also seen the battery level update may take as long as a day to show up.
It's the device. The Nyce sensors are fantastic except for their battery reporting but they do last forever on a new battery.
