I'm now using 2 of the tiny Xiaomi temperature/humidity sensors in my fridge/freezer. I just stuck them up to the back using the little sticky ring that's come with them attached to their back face. They seem to be working fine. Then I have a simple routine that sounds my new Aoetec Chime 6 and speaks through a Google Mini if the temperature in either section goes over a threshold. Seems to be working very fine! No repeaters and the hub is about 20 feet away through a stone wall. This technology - when it works - never ceases to amaze me!

Out of interest how have these sensors been going in the fridge/freeze? I was thinking about doing the same. Any thoughts?
My fridge one still works (despite showing zero battery). This is about 6 months. Freezer one eventually died. Didn't get around to fishing it out yet and trying a new battery.
