I finally gave up on Smartthings and I bought a C-8. Most things have worked well except I cannot get notifications on my android phone. I set up the phone as a device and created a simple basic rule to send a notification. The phone does not get it.
Also, when I use the Android App and select Notifications , the busy wheel just spins and nothing happens.
Any suggestions?
In the mobile app, go into Settings and make sure you are logged into your hub by checking the "hub" setting. Also make sure the mobile device you have connected with is the one you are sending the notifications to.

try a test one from basic rules .. see if it works ..
Make sure you have added phone to the devices list ..
Get the HE app installed on the Phone and register it into your HE
( it should create a Mobile App device )
And and then select whatever triggering device you want to be notified about
Create a basic rule ..
And Test it ..
Tried the above and a few other things I read on this forum. None worked, I then uninstalled the app from my phone and reinstalled it and set up the phone as a mobile device. Now phone will receive notifications from HE.
But, the notifications screen, is till hung up with a spinning wheel:
I don't know what I did; but the Notifications screen is working now.
