NOTIFICATIONS not coming through on my phone

I have a notification set up on my iPad and my iPhone (16). The notification is to notify me that a contact sensor is open/closed.

On the iPad I get a nice banner notification of the details of the change in contact sensor. I have the EXACT SAME NOTIFICATION SETTINGS on my iphone. In the Notification App I selected BOTH the iPhone and the iPad as it is important that I see the notification.

Any idea why the iPhone won’t give me the banner notification? In the Hubitat app on the iPhone, it lists the appropriate notification - XXX Sensor Open, but it doesn’t give me the alert. Seems to be an iPhone issue more than a Hubitat issue.

Any thoughts?

Go to Settings --> Notifications on your iPhone and check how things are configured for the Hubitat app.

You could also check sending a notification manually via the Device Detail page... Making sure it arrives as expected.

Looks just like yours

Tests arrive as expected in the Hubitat app under notifications, but not as a pop up/banner/alert on my iphone.

Try rebooting your iPhone.

Check the Focus settings on your iPhone.

Close, but not exactly... Your "Show Previews" option is "When unlocked" whereas his is "Always". I have no idea if changing that will move the needle here, but it's a difference.

I should have mentioned that I am on 18.4 RC, so the default settings for some things are different. But, yes, you likely want "Show Previews" to be set to "Always".
