Not able to connect to Hubitat

Hi,

I just got my new Hubitat. I tried setting it up, and it can be found by the MAC address, but then it fails connecting to the site which you get redirected to. It is not plugged into the router directly, but into a ethernet cable in the wall due to missing access to the router directly. Is this the problem or will it solve the problem hearing the landlord if he can setup a DCHP reservation or will it not work without direct access to the router.

You don't need it plugged into the router directly, but you do need to be on the same route-able network with no firewalls, guest networks, or parental controls blocking it. When you mention "landlord" my guess is this is some type of shared network? You'll need to make sure the wall jack is on the same 'network' (subnet, VLAN, etc.) that you are connected to and that there are no filters, or blocking happening on that network. Guest networks often isolate clients so they cannot talk to each other, this could be a problem.
