Noonlight - 24/7 smart home monitoring enables Hubitat to call 9-1-1 (U.S. only)

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'll try it out and see if I can help improve it.

I read somewhere the monitoring service could identify the specific sensor that triggered and even who was home based on presence but that's not present here. The beginning of this thread discussed this and I remember the response was that the driver could be modified to make that happen but I guess there's not been enough usage for someone to take it to the next level. It's certainly above my skillset but it would be great if it evolved into something like that.

Upon a trigger the monitoring service will immediately, like within a few seconds reach out by text and call. If they don't reach you and get a confirmation code things are OK they'll dispatch immediately.

Is it possible to program a reporting delay in the HSM so that you can cancel false alarms locally without getting a call from monitoring?
I'm only going to have smoke/co reporting, so I wonder if I can tell noonlight that all alarm events they get are fire.
What emergency services do they dispatch if they don't get a response to their calls/texts if they don't know the event type? All of them?

I do not see a way to do it in HSM but it looks like you could do it with rule machine. Trigger on a smoke detector, action to turn on siren, delay x amount of time, turn on noonlight siren which would trigger the monitoring service.

I would assume so.

Mine have always been police. The few times it has happened have all been false alarms and except for a couple of times I've been able to update them and they can cancel the 911 action. Most of my false alarms have happened when I did a soft reset and restore and the restore put HSM back into armed mode which it is in when I do a backup, I forget to turn it off and a door gets opened.

There's a text dialogue going on so I assume you could update the dispatcher to fire or paramedic if necessary.

I set it up yesterday and it is super fast in response... I triggered 3 alarms over the past 24 hours, they texted and called within a minute.
