Node-Red icon red square "error"?

I am just getting started so this could be a very dumb questions.

All my flows seem to be ending with a red square with a hole in it. They work, but what's up with the "error" icon (if that is what it is). Any thought on what this is and why it appears on all my flow endpoints?

Red square does usually mean error.
Are you getting anything in your debug messages? If there's an api error they will typically show there even without a debug node attached.

I was running an old version of node-red. update to 1.x fixed it.
