No longer active on this forum

Due to the locking of my app posts and having moved to another system, I will no longer be active in this forum or actively supporting my apps.

These include Bathroom Humidity fan, keenect lite, thermostat tracker and seasonal pool controller.

Thanks for the many fun years here.

Uh, I think they were closing down old threads not targeting people specifically.. @bobbyD has been maybe a little over-zealous due to the sheer # of threads and some being in the wrong section and inactive - I noticed a few other threads prematurely closed (ubiquiti driver thread for example) if you pm him I'm sure he would restore...

Would suck to see you go..

I don't think it was targeting, I just haven't had to develop anything lately, so most of my apps are old. But as I said, I have moved to a different system, so it just made the timing a clean break.

OK. Curiosity got to me. What other system did you move to?

My guess would be Home Assistant. I think some of the more technically savvy devs prefer HA as it is opensource and gives them greater, more granular control over their systems. Of course with great power comes great responsibility and the headaches that come with... so ymmv.

Disclaimer: I think HA is great but prefer my super stable NR/HE setup.

Good luck, Craig! See you around on the Node-RED forums?

Sortof? NR, MQTT, zwave2mqtt, zigbee2mqtt. On a debian box. I ran NR/he for years, very stable.
