Newbie: Help installing Econet Bulldog Valve....I can't find the software package to use HPM

I successfully installed the Yale Lock and Ring Components but, for the life of me, cannot find the proper software to install my Econet Bulldog Valve using the search function of HPM.

What am I doing wrong? Search parameters or do i have to add it a different way?

Thanks in advance.

Did you try the built-in Generic Z-Wave Valve ?

Yep that's what mine is set to and has been working great for a couple of years now.

Also notice I put contact sensors on the lever and body - this is a secondary verification that the valve is open or closed. Also have a "rule" on the first of every month it does a test open and closing. This way keeps the lever from seizing up.

Is that the water pipe to the pony’s water trough?

Which one did you get? The WiFi version or the Z-wave version? Only the z-wave version works with Hubitat. And it has built-in support using the driver @672southmain indicated - so no need for HPM.

I have the Hubitat Elevation® US Version and the Bulldog Valve Robot, (Z-Wave) SKU: EVC200-HC2LXL.

Given that I am new to this, can somebody walk me through how to add it without using HPM?

Before you do that, I'd also recommend reading this:

The HPM is a community built app (NOT from Hubitat Inc) that can help with installing other community written apps and drivers. It is not supported or necessarily endorsed by the folks at Hubitat, Inc., though I suspect they appreciate the utility of it.

You still need to pair your device to HE in the standard way that @aaiyar linked to. You do not need the HPM for this at all as it uses the builtin generic z-wave valve driver and should automatically get configured.
