New Themostat Scheduler

Thought I'd take a look at the new Thermostat Scheduler.

I'm probably missing something here but if you are controlling by modes the last column is for Mode and I have set HEAT for each mode. When summer rolls around again and it's time for cooling I'm guessing I need to load this up and change them all to Cool? Or is there some setting that just puts it in Cool or Heat across the board?

On the old scheduler we just had to change one setting from Heat to Cool. Am I missing something on the new one?

The docs didn't seem to specifically address this.

Thanks.

It only sets the thermostat mode if there is an entry, so you don’t need all of those, or even any of them.

The mode setting was added to Thermostat Schedule due to user request. However, it isn't needed for most applications. My thermostats will stay in either heat or cool mode for many months, with auto mode for a week or two when the seasons change. I just do those mode changes by hand with no attempt to automate them. I do use Thermostat Scheduler for my thermostats, but they don't have mode settings at all.

Mine does not have an auto setting for heat/cool but are you saying if I don't specify there and change it manually on the thermostat it will then do heat or cool as appropriate?

Yes, if you don't set it in Thermostat Scheduler, it won't touch it.

Great! Thanks.
