Right! And while Spectrum could probably provision both modems on the same account (or create what is normally called a "roommate account") they would most definitely charge you for two high speed data connections and subscriptions.
Yes it makes sense. The old Modem is not I'm talking about they left here 5 years ago when they replaced it. So I'm thinking of returning that one and keeping the newer one.
I not thinking as fast as when I was younger. At 75 things slow down
Well that’s where a community like this one comes into its own.
So if and when the network portion is solved I do hope you can figure the zigbee part out as well. Just let us know if we can help out there. Might need some going back and forth on the info
Thanks again
This is strange to me. My ZigBee bathroom motion works with Alexa but not with Hubitat.
Any ideas?
Can you be more specific? Is your bathroom motion sensor paired with a Zigbee-enabled Alexa device? Or is it paired with HE?
Paired with HE
If you look at the devices page for that device and look at events, is it correctly reporting active/inactive events?
No it's not. This is a thirdreality ZigBee motion.
When I set a rule in HE ... Nothing.
But a routine in Alexa works.

Starts to sound like an issue with the rule, not the connectivity…
Yeah agreed except for the lack of events part. Even if it's a rule issue there should be events showing up. @junk7001 how is the motion sensor exposed to alexa? Via the Amazon Echo integration app on HE?
I want the motion active when you walk in. Stay on for approx 120min . Turn off the switch on the way out.
I would like it to stay on (without 120 mins) if the switch is manually turned on.
Going out on a limb here… whats the time setting on your hub?
Show current NTP server
http://hubitat.local/hub/advanced/ntpServer
Set the NTP server to <-value->
http://hubitat.local/hub/advanced/ntpServer/<-value->
I see the time set for EST?
Might be an option for you
The motion sensor is added to HE. Added to Alexa skill
4:20 the correct time. But good thinking
Open the hubitat device page for the motion sensor. Let it time out so it says "inactive". Then cause motion to activate it. It should change to "active" on the device page.
If that is not changing then there is no way possible for Alexa to know it changed either, unless the device is paired directly to a Zigbee capable Echo device.
Go to the device page on Hubitat, and click events at the top. You should see all prior events. If motion events are registering there it is connected to and working with HE. If its not consistently reporting, could be a problem with the Zigbee mesh. I believe on the other thread someone pointed out that you might need some repeaters.
It shows inactive @ 4:08 and bathroom still be occupied. I ordered a repeater
