New Hub / Can Ping IP / Connection Being Refused

I am new to Hubitat. I have a new never been accessed hub. I connected the hub to my Unifi LAN. I can see the hub via the Unifi controller software and can ping the IP address of the device. When I attempt to connect using Chrome I get - '192.168.1.163 refused to connect'. I have never been able to connect to the device.

I went to the portal. I assume the portal can see the device as it is reporting information about the hub. I used the portal to do a soft reset, then a hard reset. After the hard reset the hub shutdown. I pulled the power plug and put it back in and the hub indicated a blue light. However, I am still not able to connect to the hub. Not sure what the next step should be.

C7 should go to green when it's loaded and ready. If you are stuck on blue then I'd advise an email to support. @bobbyD

Good decision! As @thebearmay indicated, your C-7 doesn't have the platform loaded (for whatever reason). I believe that Hubitat support can sometimes provide instructions to fix this situation without resorting to a product exchange.

Tagging @bobbyD FTW.

I wasnโ€™t aware you could do a reset from the portal page.

For what itโ€™s worth, I had the blue led a couple months ago after a reboot. Even with the blue led I was still able to access the diagnostic on hub-ip:8081

From here you can set the hub date and time - I know this can cause some issues with connecting to the web socket if itโ€™s wrong ... I think.

Also safe mode can be attempted just to see if it will kick over.

I contacted support. They detailed how to do a factory update. Followed the instructions and everything looks great. Thank you for the feedback.
