So I picked up a Google home mini at Lowes for 24.50. Do I also need to buy Google chromecast? I just want to do audio announcements. How do I enroll Google mini in hubitat.
Never mind, I found the chromecast adder for hubitat applications and now have voice announcements.....this is great! I'm heading to Lowes to buy some more minis.

Just remember that this integration is BETA... If you run into hub performance issues or lockups, you may need to disable it...
It will likely be fine, and is fine for many users, but I would be remiss if I didn't point that out.
For instance, I was having hub performance and lockup issues before removing the chromecast integration... Have had none since removing it... But my hub was pretty heavily loaded before I split it into 3 hubs, so YMMV.

Thanks for the tip - hope it works - I love it and at $22.00 for a Google Mini is cheap audio messages.
