Dynamic airflow balancing is a completely separate automation logic independent from Flair automation. In fact, if some day Flair enables local API access, dynamic airflow balancing would work 100% locally
Ah that’s good to know. For others that find themselves in the same pickle: I just went into the Flair app and assigned all my vents to the same couple rooms that have a thermostat. So far, that has eliminated all the NoSuchElementException errors. To be clear, I’m not actually using the thermostats from the Flair app—it’s just a hack to prevent the errors and make my hub happy once again.
I am still seeing the pending async http request warning messages. However, like @ljbotero, there doesn’t appear to be any functional problems associated with this situation, so I’ll happily ignore them.
Will monitor closely for the next few days, but I think we’re out of the woods here. Thank you @ljbotero!
Phenomenal. This must have been quite the project to develop your own automation logic that optimizes the various venting considerations, as listed in your documentation. Good on you.

Just to let you know, the integration is already available through Hubitat Package Manager. You can find it listed as "Flair Vents". This should make it easier to install and keep the integration up-to-date.
Turns out there's a different problem with this approach (I think). If you assign all your vents to the same 2-3 rooms and then later set room-active of a vent to false in HE, then all the vents in that room also become inactive. That doesn't work.
So I went back into the Flair app, and assigned all my vents to each individual room (I have 12 rooms). But then when I do that, the NoSuchElementException errors reoccur for the vents that are in rooms that don't have a thermostat. And I definitely don't have 12 thermostats.
Any suggestion on best way to solve this? @ljbotero, wonder if the integration could have a toggle that sets room-name based on HE room or Flair room? Or somehow not require that a thermostat be attached to every Flair room.

@mluck can you you pls share the logs with the NoSuchElementException errors, that will help me pinpoint the problem and apply a patch

EDIT: these logs were after I created a bunch of virtual, non-existent thermostats in the Flair app so that every room had a thermostat.
All right, I've found the root cause thanks to your logs! The exception was being thrown due to the a room missing the ID, not sure why, but I've added error handling to prevent further issues. Please install the latest and let me know if any other problem arises. Thanks!
Thanks. Just to be clean, I tried to add the app from scratch, but I'm still having the problem I DM'd you about -- no devices get discovered. And there's nothing in the log other than "Discovery Started". Not sure what to try next.
EDIT: I was able to restore a hub backup from early this morning with some of the vents. I upgraded the Flair integration to v0.10, then tried a Discover. The new vents still don't show up and there is a new error in the log. It generates a HTTP 404 error, which doesn't make sense to me since I have successfully authenticated OAUTH2.0.

And FWIW, I deleted the HA integration just to reduce variables.
When I originally used this integration, it discovered all my vents except one, which I just couldn't get to show up. I decided to start over so I deleted all the devices, and even deleted the app and the drivers. I then reinstalled everything and tried to discover my vents. Now, I can't get even one.
I also tried a completely different hub that had never previously had this Flair app nor driver installed. Same problem. I can't discover a single device.
I have the logging in the app turned all the way up, but there is very little information there. Just getting access token and Discovery started.
Do you gave any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi,
I installed Flair Vents using Hubitat Package Manager. I have, Flair Vents v0.10 (app) and Flair vents v0.10 (driver) installed.
After I add the user app, I fill in the "Client Id (OAuth 2.0)" & "Client Secret OAuth 2.0"fields. I have "Choose debug level" set to "Level 1 (All)". I then press the "Authenticate" button. Nothing comes up in the log. I then proceed to press the "Discover" multiple times, as nothing seems to happen. Again nothing comes up in the log.
Any thoughts?

Thank you for reporting the issue with discovering vents. Unfortunately, I'm currently unavailable for the next few weeks and won't be able to investigate immediately. Rest assured, I will conduct a thorough investigation to find the root of the problem as soon as I'm back.
In the meantime, you might try using an earlier version of the integration to see if the problem was introduced in a recent update. If anyone else is able to find a solution and submit a pull request, I'll be happy to review and merge it.

In the meantime, another idea for folks: I’m going to ask Flair if I can get a new OATH2 client ID secret since it seemed to work the first time, but not subsequently. Will let you all know what I learn.
Thanks for the response inspite of being out. I did roll back to the March 8th version of the app file and discovery went just fine!

@misbah, appreciate you sharing that bit of info. I will try the same. Are you referring to v0.9? Or prior to that?
EDIT: actually, I think my question is kinda dumb -- just found the history log on github, so was able to easily trace back to the March 8 version you mentioned. All good -- retract my question.

I actually just went ahead and tried it for my self. I wasn't sure what to do with the file:
hubitat-ecobee-smart-participation.groovy-- whether it was an app or a driver so I left it out. Even so, when I discovered by devices , they all showed up! I haven't done much testing to see if they will work or not, but definitely encouraging. Thanks @mluck, @misbah, and most of all @ljbotero.
@shimbone, I was able to discover all my devices by going back to the March 8th version as @misbah suggested. But there are still errors in the log. And the old version understandably is missing some of the newer functionality that is key, at least to my use-case.
I think the best thing to do at this stage is just give @ljbotero the time he needs to deal with other priorities. And when he returns in the next few weeks I'm sure he'll work it out.
