I basically want to understand what is the process of requesting a new capability, or is one even needed.
I have a combination power and gas meter, and there is a custom driver for it that just works to read the measurements. However, when i use the Influx DB Logger it only logs the power (W) and not the gas.
I looked through the code of the logger and it does nothing magical, simply gets the data for the power meter capability.
Quick check through the docs and i do see the power meter capability but nothing that would provide gas (m3) events.
Also, the Power Meter capability is really basic, it does not support 3 phase power, no support for voltage readings or frequency.
So, how do i ask / add myself a gas meter capability?
