New C8-Pro failing to reliably join

I am configuring a new Z-wave network with a C8-Pro. I had a C7 that just stopped working. I had all sorts of issues so I decided it would be best to just start over. I should note that I am attempting to exclude the devices from the old network and have do soft resets on the actual switches.

When I include a device I will get the text asking me about security, but then it doesn't do anything. If I reboot the hub it will show up in my zwave table, but not my devices. On one device I was able to "Refresh" and then it showed up in my devices, but the 2nd one won't even do that. It also required a reboot to just appear in the zwave table. My logs seem pretty crazy for for a network with 2 devices. Any thoughtghts

Have you tried the radio reset routine where you power down the hub, then unplug it for 30+ seconds, and then restart?

It is a good thing to try if you have not tried that yet.

Same issue. Paired all my switches then one lock. 2nd lock never finished pairing now the entire z wave network doesn't work.

Yes, it did help add another device, but now still dealing with issues adding a 4th.

The hub is powered by the OEM brick connected to 120VAC,

Don’t see any issues.

The zwave busy error basically means you need to just do a shut down and unplug.

Something i would say is be patient. Most of the time when i have triggered a problem and gotten errors with zwave busy it was because i was rushing. Do one task at a Time and let it complete. You may also want to go into the diag page and just do a reset of the zwave radio if it has been misbehaving already. Last thing i would suggest is when possible use Smartstart. I really think it has come a long way in usability. Also anytime you look at security settinga don't change them leave everything with the default values they start with.
