I just bought a new C7, connect to my ATT router and plugged via the given micro usb and power adapter. There is no light, tried with different cables and plus, still no light. I would like try once more here before i return the device.
do you have dhcp enabled on your router.
Bad batch? @bobbyD
Its setup as Automatic (DHCP). I've connected a hue bridge to my router, it works fine
i am not sure if that router has any logs to show assignment of dhcp addresses.. i know some do and maybe it would show something. or an attempt to get an address failing. or as summized it could be a bad hub. also make sure it is not trying to giv it secondary poe power
Did you try another cable/power adapter, one of my power adapters died after being glitchy for a few weeks and I was blaming the cable, replaced the power adapter and all works ok, even used the original cable just to see and I could finally blame the adapter instead of the cable.
I tried various adapters which are more than 2 amps, even an iPad plug. Tried different working cables as well, no luck. The router is Arris BGW210, if that helps. I assume there should be atleast a blue light, to signify power, but its blank.
