Nest Home Hub as the Touch Interface to Hubitat

I've been battling with what to do for a touch UI for the house and have found a new love for the Nest Hubs. Loving how it deals with the WAF and how simple it is.

I've now got a graphically attractive (albeit not customisable) UI for lights, fans, music (sonos), routines (via virtual switches), security, video intercoms between rooms and video calls to mobiles (Duo) as well as all the obvious voice control of the above and more. I'm really happy.

My goodnight routine (voice and a button) utilises Google Assistant functions and Hubitat to lock doors, turns off lights, activate garden intrusion alarms, turn off the TV, asks me what time I want the alarm for in the morning, tells me the weather for tomorrow, the first thing on my calendar for the day and finally says good night.

Anyone else using Nest Hubs and Hubitat and loving it? Any hacks/tips/cool stuff?

I've just ordered 5 more Nest Hub Max's

Check out Catt for Google. With a python script, you can cast any webpage directly to you nest hub or next hub max. Works well for dashboards.

I have a couple of Lenovo displays that are excellent, but haven't played around much using Hubitat with them yet as still learning the ropes.

Catt looks very interesting.!

It'd be great for casting dashboard web pages but creating a nice looking one first is a challenge.

this does not answer your question really.. but here is an interesting unit that gives you Alexa, in its normal state, and a tablet display.
