I am looking for a multi-sensor to use with my Hubitat C-5 system, via Z-Wave, that will be used on the exterior of my home. I want to detect motion and light level. The use would be for night detection of motion and to have the Hubitat turn on a set of exterior lights. The sensor would be put in a location that is exposed to weather (rain) and direct sunlight. I want the sensor to be battery powered.
I have been using the Aeotec TriSensor, model ZWA005-A as an interior sensor and it has worked fine for me. I have an extra unit and need to know if it can be used outside where it will be exposed to rain, etc. If not, please recommend a model sensor that I can use.
