Hi, I have a wiring to a light which I can't figure out how to make it work with a smart relay or switch. Any advice on how to make it work would be appreciated, or suggestions for alternative devices. Also if there is a name for this wiring configuration?
I'm in Ireland (similar wiring to UK). It is a new build 2020. I have neutral at some switches.
I have the following devices:
Sonoff zbmini
Shelly plus 1
Im open to
Ideally being shown how to wire with what I have.
A smart switch with a two way output (but is already at a 4 gang connection, so a 2 gang or 4 gang would be needed)
Putting on a smart switch at either end.
Lighting configuration
5 lights in a row.
1 light in a separate location
4 gang switch on ground floor (switch A)
1 gang switch (switch B)
As best I can figure out how the lighting works is as follows.
Switch A gets power from consumer board / main leg of lighting daisy chain. It feeds this power into com.
Switch A has S1 and S2 running to switch B.
Switch A has a switching neutral returning to it from the light.
Switch B has the S1 and S2 entering from switch A.
Switch B has two switched live wires running out from com. (1 to the 5 lights, and 1 to the single light)
1st of the 5 lights has a switched live (feed from switch B)
1st of the 5 lights has a switched neutral returning to switch A
The 1st of the 5 lights has a live, neutral, and earth feeding onto the remainder of the 5 lights in a row
The problem I see is that I don't have live power where I need my switch. I think it has to be at switch A,
Switch A is the ground floor.
Switch B is the upstairs
