Need customer service?

I am very frustrated that there is no customer service for Hubitat! I am paying a service fee for remote admin which is not working and have no way to get help.

The remote access is not connecting and now the “Alexa” skill stopped working. The system shows a hub Id, and app I’d, etc… but will not connect and will not show that I have a registered hub.

Does Hubitat have any way to get in touch with someone to help?

Bottom of the page there is a Support link that points to:

They also monitor the Ask Anything category:

Hubitat has support, but of course there's often a queue. The Community augments support here with volunteers that seem to be hovering to answer questions. For example, two responses in 6 minutes.

Sounds like your hub might have problems connecting to the cloud. Do you have a static IP address set on your hub in Settings > Network Setup? If so, make sure that everything but particularly your DNS is set correctly. The default of 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4, 1.1.1.1, 1.0.0.1, 9.9.9.9 should work unless you need something else for some reason. Reserving a DHCP address on your router instead of setting anything directly on the hub is also possible and would also eliminate the possibility of anything being wrong here.

Just one guess while you wait to hear back.

The fastest way to get in touch with Hubitat stuff, is here in the community, or as @thebearmay suggested, using support.hubitat.com. There you will find a section dedicated to subscription services, along with warranty requests.

The two issues you've mentioned are indicative of hub not being able to connect to the cloud. If you made no changes to your local network structure recently, it might just be that your hub lost internet connection and was unable to reconnect. Often rebooting the hub from Settings resolves this issue.

Thank you for the response, I have had a lot of issues with the internet service and had Google Fiber run a new line to my home. I’ve reset the hub and will try that again. I’ve read and followed the other suggestions but nothing seems to restart the service. I travel a lot for my work and really need to connect remotely.

Have you set a static IP for the hub? If you'd like you can send me a private message and we can check to see if the hub is currently connected to the cloud.

I had set a static IP but removed it when all the issues started. I am traveling now and will be home at end of the week, I appreciate the offer and will reach out to you when I return home if that is ok?
