Need assistance determining if hub is off network

If you are having difficulty locating the IP address of your hub, you might try using an IP address scanner. It will scan all the IP addresses of every device connected to your router.

I use a free scanner called Advanced IP Scanner. If you cannot identify which device is your hub, check the name plate on the hub for the MAC address and then match the MAC address to the IP address.

Once you figure out which address is being used, open the UI for your router and reserve that address for the hub so it will never change again.

I know the IP and have it reserved on the router. The problem I’m having is whenever I try to add it to home kit , HomeKit can’t find it. It can find the C7’s just fine, but not the C8. Gopher mentioned some tin about it getting the IP immediately after reboot, but not connecting to the cloud for 2 minutes.. I’m not sure I understand the connection, just trying to run it down to eliminate the issues. I’m inclined to think it’s problem with the hub itself.
