Need a remote switch

Im looking for something to solve a problem i have. In my TV room the light switch is on the other side of the room. i would like a ZWave or Zigby wireless switch device I can use to trigger a rule to turn on the physical Zwave switch on the other side of the room. currently I have one of the Cooper Aspire and have never really liked it.

How about an Amazon Dot?

Try the iris button that should soon be supported. Or the minimote which is working well for me.

I have a dot up there but kids don’t like to wait. I’m thinking a wall mounted one that looks like a paddle switch would be ideal.

Go for Caséta! You can wall mount a Pico in a switch face plate, looks and acts just like a switch.

Do I need a Lutron hub with that?

Yes, you’d need a lutron smart bridge pro to use the pico switches directly for non caseta switch/dimmer control.

Are you looking for a wallmount or tabletop Device?

Also, What specifically don't you like about the Cooper Aspire? That would help us make alternative suggestions. :sunglasses:

it may be due to the Device Handler I had in ST but it was not like an on/off it acted more like a button. If you hit up sometimes it was an off sometimes it was an on. When you entered the room you would have to push it both ways to find out what would turn on the light.
