I am trying to link my liftmaster gate opener, which I presently have connected with the MyQ app. With my Alexa. However, I have not been able to find any skills or apps tp facilitate this. It looks like they had something that worked at some point last year, but no luck now. Any tips would be appreciated.

Depends on the age (and more importantly, the Chamberlain security level implemented) on your gate opener - Personally, for local control and assuming you own a HE, I'm a big fan of RatGo's - There are lots of details and options there, but you may want to start with:

It's $45, so there is some minor HW investment here
And there is (I think) and HE driver for both the ESP and MQTT flavors of RatGo - Please reply if you interested in going that directly, and I can likely dig up the required links.
